Taka’s tackle shop is a wonderful ‘mom and pop’ type of establishment. The owner, Steve, takes care of it very well. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. He has the standard fishing stuff, saltwater, and freshwater. He has bait, too. However, his biggest asset is his knowledge and reel repair. Knowledge, he is a wealth of information. Steve directed me on what particular bait to use and it paid off. Reel repair, this guy is amazing at it. I brought in some of my reels for him to lubricate and grease up. Wow, they all cast country mile with little effort! Its pricing is very reasonable, too. Twenty-five dollars for bait casters and twenty dollars for spinning reels. I will continue to go there for my wants and needs. Taka’s is in Anaheim just off Lincoln Street.
