This is a good value for you all.
If you want to take your partner to a football game, this is a fun and cost-effective way of doing it. We went to see the UCLA Bruins football team play at the Rose Bowl. I always wanted to go see football game but could not justify the expense to go to an NFL game. When my kids were growing up, we went to the high school football games and they were fun, but did not have that luster of a better experience. So, my wife brought up, how about college football? Let me tell you that was a great idea! So, I researched it, and my first check was the UCLA Bruins playing the rival USC Trojans, whew! tickets were $200-! Then I thought maybe UCLA playing a non-rivalry team might be cheaper and yes, this was the case. I checked the Fresno State Bulldog game and low and behold, these same seats at the USC game for $200- were $25-. Certainly, a great value. However, at the Rose Bowl, parking fees are the same. At the Rose Bowl itself was $100- to park. We parked in Lot 6, which was further away from the stadium for $45-. A little bit of walking but not too much and well worth the savings. It was a Saturday afternoon game, and it did not disappoint. We went through security and found out the wife’s purse was too big so, we walked back to my truck. We got our walking in for the day so, well worth it. This worked out well because my wife bought a clear bag that she can use for other events that we go to. I, of course, got a Bruins hat to add to my collection of caps.. We got some snacks, pricey, but we do not do this every week. We spent about $50- on snacks and $50- on the clear bag and hat. Then, we were off to our seats. The Rose Bowl is a football only stadium, its seats are right there at the field so, all seats are pretty good viewing. It was nice seeing the marching band on the field playing, you don’t see that in the NFL. Fairly competitive game. Bulldogs were up at half time, but then bruins won the game 30-23.
We had a great time, Memories to last a lifetime.
It did not break the bank, very reasonable.
